    Course Overview

    Prescribing exercises and writing programs are the bread and butter of personal trainers. If you’re only writing programs from session to session, or week to week, then this course will allow you to program for your clients for 12 or more months.

    This course takes a step by step, and top down approach to each part of the process so by the end you will be able to start developing them for your clients or athletes. In fact, not only will you gain the knowledge and skills from this course, you will also have the opportunity to develop a periodised training plan for a client as you progress through it.

    About the Author

    Chris is the National Training Program Coordinator at the Australian Institute of Fitness. Chris has been a lecturer, trainer and assessor for the institute in the last 6 ½ years, delivering training for the Certificate III and IV in Fitness qualifications, as well as for the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and Diploma of Remedial Massage. Prior to his career in the health and fitness industry, Chris spent 6 years in the military, as well as in the procurement and logistics industry where he obtained valuable planning skills.

    Chris’ contribution and passion for the health and fitness industry are evident in his experience as a Personal Trainer in the last 8 years, helping individuals achieve their goals through long-term planning and writing effective programs with structure and creativity. Having a solid game plan has been the key driver in the success of his clients!
