Course Overview
This course will equip you with the fundamental skills required to develop and implement a Manual Resistance Training program utilising minimal equipment for your clients. Before we look at Manual Resistance exercises, we will cover the core principles of strength training and their importance to athletic performance and injury prevention. Once we have an understanding of Manual Resistance exercises, we will then explore their applicability to other primary forms of resistance training, in particular, those using bodyweight and plyometric training methods. The relevance and application of these training methods in manual resistance exercises will be explored, including optimal performance techniques to avoid injury.
Upon completing the course, you will be able to apply the concepts of strength training in exercise programming using minimal equipment, focussing primarily on performance and injury prevention.

About the Author

For over 10 years Bassim Yaghi has been illustrating a deep significance of passion, enthusiasm and energy towards generating a healthy lifestyle through the avenue of education and motivation. Graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise & Sport Science) degree back in 2010, Bassim has witnessed an abundance of landscape shifts and influences to which the fitness industry is heading towards. Working as a personal trainer, small group instructor and body composition coach has paved the way for numerous opportunities during his role as an Exercise professional. Working with the big names in fitness such as Fitness First and Crunch Fitness, accumulating experience and upskilling along the way has led Bassim to pursue his aspirations in becoming a formal educator for the Australian Institute of Fitness. Helping hundreds of Personal Trainers and clients reach their goals is of primary importance to Bassim and by doing so, a heavy emphasis of his motives are towards the teachings in the fundamentals of longevity and sustainability. Analysis of information is paramount to uncovering the objective truths in the fitness industry, hence why Bassim ensures that discovery along the path to knowledge is equally vital in obtaining the end goal. Seasoned veteran in natural bodybuilding, Bassim has been competing since 2013 with a wide array of accolades to his name including attaining professional status in 2016.
