    Course Overview

    You must be endorsed by an AIF Team Member or BaseGX studio/company before enrolling into BaseGX.

    The Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF) has created a brand new, base level certification course called BaseGX. Delivered via AIF's IGNITE Learning Platform, This course is specifically designed for students who wish to teach at our BaseGX partner studios that have their own, bespoke programming and in-house instructor training.

    AIF will deliver the “BaseGX Theory” via our IGNITE Learning Platform, and Training Partners will be delivering their in-house studio training as the “BaseGX” practical.

    Learning Outcomes

    When a student completes BaseGX theory, designed to be around 40 hours, then completes the Training Partner in-house studio training as well as a First Aid course, they will graduate and be certified as a BaseGX Instructor for the chosen program and Training company.

    AIF has also exclusively secured a bespoke Insurance Policy specifically for BaseGX graduates, so they can purchase insurance to cover them to teach approved Training Partner programs and classes.

    This course is for individuals who have been endorsed by a BaseGX program partner and is completing this theoretical course in conjunction with a BaseGX practical training program delivered by the endorsing partner. 

    Individuals only need to complete BaseGX if they do not currently hold a vocational fitness qualification such as the Certificate III in Fitness or Certificate IV in Fitness.
