    Course Overview

    This course will teach you how to identify postural abnormalities by looking for different bony landmarks; then will discuss what causes each one of those abnormalities and how to address it within your scope as a personal trainer. It includes short videos of 2-3 exercises and 2-3 stretches for each abnormality that will help improve your client’s posture.

    Once you’ve acquired the knowledge to identify and address those postures, you will put it all together in a quick practical postural assessment.

    About the Author

    After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Sports in 2010, Jennifer Dabbak began her career in the health and fitness industry as a figure skating coach for three years in Lebanon, before becoming a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer at various gyms both in and out of Australia.

    With over 10 years of industry experience to date, Jennifer is now an accomplished online trainer and assessor at the Australian Institute of Fitness where she delivers Certificate III and IV in Fitness qualifications to those looking to begin their own careers in the industry she loves.

    Passionate about fitness and exercise, Jennifer has continued to upskill via professional development courses covering topics such as rehabilitation, massage, boxing, as well as strength and conditioning. She also runs a small business from her garage, where she trains clients one-on-one.
